Websites: proved to be theirs
How we decide a website belongs to a business.
A website shows proved to be theirs when the site itself backs it up, for example when it prints the company's registration number. Until then the website is held, but not marked as proved.
That matters because a business can share a website with others, such as a franchise, and a website's footer can show a parent company's number. We don't treat a number shared by many sites as a register fact for each of them.
