Questions, answered
How many businesses are in the book?
7.9 million UK businesses today, and we hold a way to reach 3.1 million of them. The count is read from the book itself, so it's the same number you see in the app.
Where does the data come from?
From public UK business registries, Companies House and licensed business data, merged into one record per business and re-checked by our own enrichment. We don't name individual sources, but everything is business information that's lawful to hold for B2B contact.
Is it only limited companies?
No. The book holds limited companies, LLPs, partnerships, sole traders and shops. A record for a sole trader has no company number or directors, and it isn't marked down for that.
How fresh is it?
Records are re-checked continuously. Each field shows when it was last checked and how many independent sources agree.
Do I pay to search?
No. Search, filters and verification are unlimited on every plan. You only use your allowance when you export a contact.
